Important parts of the entire cooling water system include the recooling unit (cooling tower, chiller, dry cooler), the cooling water module with pumps, buffer storage, pipes, and fittings. Filters and water-treatment technology are integrated into the system at the cooling water module to maintain the required cooling water quality.

The flawless, demand-oriented operation of the entire system and securing of user-friendly and effective handling of the cooling system require the permanent measurement of important operating data and the linking of all parameters in a computer-guided measuring, control, and regulation system.

MULTI Kühlsysteme uses programmable logic controllers with touch panels as the operator interface. The consumer, recooling unit and cooling water module are brought together with connecting pipes.

Thanks to their sophisticated cooling technology, well-designed cooling water modules offer numerous technical and economic advantages, such as:

  • Compact design with a clearly structured arrangement of all components
  • Short installation times thanks to professional pre-assembly
  • High operational reliability thanks to integrated measurement and control technology
  • Maintenance-friendly design with easily accessible components
  • Flexible integration into open or closed cooling circuits
  • Expandability thanks to modular design

The modern cooling water modules are designed so that they can be easily integrated into both existing cooling towers and new cooling systems. Thanks to the combination of pumps, buffer storage tanks, fittings, and intelligent control systems, cooling water modules ensure a consistent volume flow and stable temperature control.

However, our sophisticated cooling water modules offer even more for businesses and companies, as they also enable effective adaptation to your individual energy consumption. The modules thus reduce operating costs in the long term and make an important contribution to sustainability through their resource-saving use.

Each cooling water module is individually designed and tailored to your requirements. The specific technical equipment of your future cooling technology may vary depending on the area of application, but follows a clearly structured design.

The typical components of our modern cooling water modules include:

  • Robust base frame with corrosion protection
  • Buffer tank or intermediate tank
  • Powerful pump units
  • Filter and water treatment systems
  • Pipes made of PVC-U, PE, steel, or stainless steel
  • Fittings and safety devices
  • Control cabinet with PLC control and touch panel

The integrated measurement and control technology continuously monitors all relevant operating data. Thanks to the cooling water modules, you no longer have to worry about manually recording important control data. Figures relating to temperatures, pressure, and flow are precisely recorded, adjusted, and documented. This enables efficient working.

Our cooling water modules also enable a clear separation between clean and contaminated circuits. This protects your system components and extends the service life of your entire cooling system.

A modular cooling system offers you decisive advantages when production capacities grow or requirements change rapidly. Cooling water modules can be expanded or adapted step by step. This ensures that your system always remains efficient—without the need for extensive new installations and long downtimes.

Our modules are particularly suitable for:

  • Factory premises with limited space
  • Projects with planned future capacity increases
  • Export plants with pre-assembled system units
  • Temporary production sites

Thanks to their compact design, cooling water modules can be installed in a space-saving manner—for example, next to a cooling tower, in separate technical areas, or even outdoors if industrial halls offer only limited space. Prefabrication at the factory ensures consistently high quality and minimizes interface risks on the construction site.

In addition, we also offer our customers modern container cooling systems, which can also be flexibly integrated into different plant concepts. They form a clearly defined functional unit within the overall plant and enable structured, maintenance-friendly planning.
