Only high-quality components from Siemens are used for remote maintenance services. By utilizing Siemens’ SINEMA Remote software, we are able to directly access the installed PLC (programmable logic controller) of the cooling system in the event of a fault and perform a detailed error analysis.
SINEMA Remote is a management platform that enables us to establish a secure connection to our installed systems worldwide. This secure connection is implemented via a VPN tunnel (Virtual Private Network).
This tunnel technology encrypts all IP addresses and data packets of the existing connection with up to 4096-bit encryption, ensuring a very high level of IT security.
If a customer detects an irregularity and reports it to Multi Kühlsysteme by phone or email, potential faults can be identified remotely using Siemens remote maintenance, allowing impending disruptions to be prevented at an early stage.
As a system operator, you therefore retain full control over all remote access connections to your system network.
Access by Multi Kühlsysteme is only possible following explicit customer authorization, enabled via an approval switch located in the control cabinet. Once this switch is activated, the SCALANCE S615, installed centrally in the control cabinet, establishes a secure VPN connection to the Multi Kühlsysteme remote maintenance server.
After the connection has been successfully established, our service technicians can perform fault diagnostics for you. Once the issue has been analyzed and resolved and no further support is required, you simply deactivate the approval switch and the VPN connection is immediately terminated.
