Container systems are probably one of the best options for cooling industrial processes safely and effectively in industrial cooling systems. The quick availability, flexibility, and compact design of these MULTI container systems are second to none. Installation outside of the production hall, which increases space for your production, as well as the option of easy repositioning, is another great advantage of container systems. Customer-oriented planning, use of quality products, ready-to-use installation, as well as an extensive test run in our factory in Aue in the Ore Mountains are matters of course. Unit containers - advantages and characteristics

Unit containers are based on conventional 20-foot containers with cooling systems installed inside. The essential advantage of container construction cooling systems is mobility. They are lifted onto a swap body with a forklift or tractor and can be moved to a new destination, depending on the place of use. Unit containers can be set up or loaded in about 20 minutes. The containers are often tested right on site before being transported to their final destination.
Due to their large base areas, unit containers can also be used on areas where the floor has no great load-bearing capacity. Their improved sound insulation is another advantage, as they can be used near residential areas easily.
The term of unit container indicates that the cooling systems are installed in a container. The choice of cooling systems for your unit container depends on your requirements. There is no limit to flexibility when choosing between open and closed cooling systems.

 

The modular design of cooling systems in container construction permits for versatile use, e.g.:
Industrial applications in all the usual industries

  • Operation with water (for open systems) or water-glycol mixture (for closed systems)
  • Space-efficient outdoor installation
  • Unit containers are available in ISO or special sizes; specially reinforced floor area, insulated outer shell, ventilation, heating interior lighting; colour requests can be accommodated
  • They can be designed as heat exchanger modules with plate heat exchanger for separation into “dirty” and “clean” circuits with the highest demands on cooling water quality
  • Favourable for short transfer times when replacing cooling systems
  • Flexible implementation
  • Advantageous concept for export orders: The recooling unit and cooling water module arrive on site as factory-tested system components in a compact housing; only relatively few connecting pipes and cables need to be installed on site

Let us present the basic structure of the unit containers here. We will also implement customer-specific wishes where possible:

  • Base frame with corrosion-protection coating
  • Intermediate tank or buffer tank
  • Pump system
  • Cooling water filter
  • Water conditioning
  • Various fittings
  • Internal piping material in plastic (PE, PVC), carbon steel, or stainless steel
  • Control cabinet with full control and regulation system incl. PLC
  • Internal wiring of all measuring points and consumers

Important parts of the entire cooling water system include the recooling unit (cooling tower, chiller, dry cooler), the cooling water module with pumps, buffer storage, pipes, and fittings. Filters and water-treatment technology are integrated into the cooling system at the cooling water module to maintain the required cooling water quality.

The flawless, demand-oriented operation of the entire unit containers and securing of user-friendly and effective handling of the cooling system require the permanent measurement of important operating data and the linking of all parameters in a computer-guided measuring, control, and regulation system.

MULTI Kühlsysteme uses programmable logic controllers with touch panels as the operator interface. The consumer, recooling unit and cooling water module are brought together with connecting pipes.
